Music thrives in Gambia

The music industry in Gambia was extremely restricted and underfunded. Many poets and musicians were unable to express themselves because it was forbidden under the direction of former president Jammeh. Since his exile in Equatorial Guinea, the music industry is flourishing and Gambians could not be happier.
